• If no ATF leaks out of the ATF check and fill hole -arrow B- before the ATF reaches 40 °C (104 °F):
• At 45 °C (113 °F) the ATF inspection plug must be installed again. Let the transmission cool down and check again.

-- Install the :VAS6262/5  into the ATF check and fill hole -arrow-.

-- Fill the ATF using the adapter until the ATF starts to leak out of the check and fill hole.

-- Tighten the new plug -arrow B-. The ATF level test is now completed.

Tightening Specifications

• Drain and plug. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - DRAIN AND CHECK PLUGS .
• Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .
