Transmission Fluid Pan, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Replace the transmission fluid pan gasket and bolts.

-- Replace the O-rings -arrows- on the connector for the Dual-Clutch Transmission Mechatronic -J743-.

-- Remove any oil or grease from the sealing surfaces.

-- Coat the O-rings on the connector for the Dual-Clutch Transmission Mechatronic -J743- with transmission fluid.

-- Install the transmission fluid pan -A- with the transmission fluid pan gasket and tighten. Refer to Figure.

-- Fill with transmission fluid (refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID, DRAINING AND FILLING ) and check the transmission fluid level (refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL, CHECKING ).
