Overview - Windshield: Notes

The following dimensions represent the distances at the marked points. This must also be oriented to the layout of the original adhesive bead on the removed component.

1. Windshield
   • Distance to the roof, dimension -a- = 2.5 mm
   • Center the side distance to the A-pillars.
2. Adhesive Bead
   • Observe the minimum curing time. Refer to MINIMUM CURING TIMES FOR BONDED WINDOWS .
     • Dimension -b- = 14 mm^{± 2 mm}
     • Dimension -c- = 8 mm^{± 2 mm}
     • Dimension -d- = 18 mm^{± 2 mm}
3. Molding
   • Must not be damaged in the visible area
4. Drip Rail
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to DRIP RAIL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
5. Plenum Chamber Cover Frame
   • No replacement part
   • With a new window glass, protective piping must first be removed before installing the plenum chamber cover.
6. Plenum Chamber Cover
   • Press into retaining strip only after window adhesive minimum curing time is complete (two hours).
