Windshield Spray Pattern, Checking

The spray pattern must meet the following specifications:

Mirror image according to the specifications
Even, precise spray jets
Driver side washer nozzle adjustment: point of impact -2- of the center stream is maximum 15 cm under the upper window edge and maximum approximately in the center of the windshield.
Front passenger side spray nozzle adjustment: point of impact -1- the height of the driver side points of impact or can depending on the spray pattern deviate downward (symmetry not required).
Impact zone of the center spray jet: approximately 15 cm to 45 cm from the upper edge of the windshield

Procedure:

-- Activate the windshield washer system and assess the spray pattern.

-- If the spray pattern does not meet the specifications, adjust the spray nozzles. Refer to WINDSHIELD SPRAY NOZZLES, ADJUSTING .
