Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Hook And Support Tool: 3311 with Hook And Support Tool - Bolt: 3311/1
- Shop Crane: VAS6100
Procedure
- Transmission removed. Refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
CAUTION:
Transmission components could be damaged if they are not set down correctly.
- Never set the transmission down on the ATF cooler or on the ATF pan.
-- Secure the transmission on the : 3311 (use new longer bolts : 3311/1 ).
CAUTION:
There is a risk of injury from the weight of the transmission shifting.
The possibility for parts of the body to be pinched or crushed increases.
- Only transport the transmission in the way that is described.
-- Lift and transport the transmission with the : VAS6100 .
