Line Routing And Securing

There is a risk of damaging the lines.

The lines can be damaged by the moving or hot components.

-- Route lines in their original locations.

-- Replace a damaged cable tie and cable bracket.

-- Make sure there is sufficient clearance to moving or hot components.

• To prevent interchanging lines and ensure the original routing is followed, mark the individual lines, such as fuel, hydraulic, vacuum, and EVAP system lines as well as wires before removing them. Draw sketches or take pictures of them if needed.
