Replacement Intervals

Service intervals will vary depending on type of driving conditions. A series of service reminder lights will come on when servicing is required. Perform all necessary service and reset reminder lights. Using Service Indicator Resetter (SIR) (62 1 100), reset interval reminder switch. Turn ignition to the "RUN" position. Do not start engine. Turn all electrical equipment off. Plug SIR into the diagnostic socket. Push in and hold recessed, Red "INSPECTION" button (Green lamp comes on). After approximately 3 seconds, Red lamp comes on and after approximately 12 seconds, Red lamp goes off. Release the "INSPECTION" button, Green lamp goes out. Remove SIR.
