Front Suspension: Description

All BMW models use MacPherson strut front suspension systems. The front suspension systems consist of vertically mounted strut assemblies directly attached to steering knuckles. The steering knuckles are connected to the axle carriers (crossmembers) through lower control arms. A stabilizer bar is used on all models. The stabilizer bar is attached to the strut assembly. Strut rods are installed on all models.
