Oil Level Indicator

When testing this circuit, ensure fuses No. 5 and 6 are intact, switch is properly connected and that engine oil level is correct. Oil level sensor is located at bottom of oil pan. Sensor contains 2 switches. To check switches, use an ohmmeter. When oil level is low, dynamic switch (Blue/White) closes, and static switch (Blue/Violet) opens. When oil level is at correct level, static switch closes, and dynamic switch opens. Replacement of sensor is necessary if switch operation is incorrect.
