System Automatic Off Operation
Cruise control system disengages automatically under the following conditions:
- Excessive deceleration due to steep upgrade
- Brake pedal depressed
- Clutch pedal depressed, or A/T range switch is moved from Drive to Neutral
- A/T range switch is in Park
- Vehicle speed less than 28 MPH.
- Accelerator pedal depressed (vehicle resumes set speed after accelerator pedal is released)
- Ignition is switched off (previous set speed stored in memory will be cleared)
NOTE:
To avoid delays in system responding to commands, an electromagnetic quick-release clutch is installed in cruise control actuator between drive and cable assembly.
