(1) Using 32-mm Wrench (11-5-040). If using a conventional 32-mm wrench, tighten nut to 29 ft. lbs. (40 N.m).
(2) Tighten bolts in 4 steps and in sequence. See Figure. Step 1) Tighten to 43-46 ft. lbs. (58-62 N.m). Step 2) Wait 15 minutes. Step 3) Tighten to 30-36 degrees. Step 4) Run engine at operating temperature for 25 minutes, and tighten bolts to 30-40 degrees.
(3) Replace bolts, and apply locking compound to threads.
(4) Use clean, lightly-oiled bolts.
