DTC 83: ASC: Troubleshooting
With scan tool status monitoring. With ignition switched on or the engine idling, nominal value for the ASC signal = OFF. If display shows ON, this indicates a short to voltage at pin No. 83 (ASC) or pin No. 81 (DWA).
