The system functions for making a phone call with the Telematic Control Unit (TCU) and the paired Bluetooth handset are based on wireless data transmission using the Bluetooth radio standard.

Bluetooth technology is not approved for use in all countries If approval has not been granted, the Bluetooth connection between the Bluetooth handset and the Telematic Control Unit (TCU) must be temporarily disabled for as long as you are in that country.
