MP3 Compatibility Overview
INFORMATION
Attached is an updated overview on MP3 compatible CD radios, M-ASK, CCC and CD changers.
The stability of earlier CCC (Car Communication Computer) software did not allow for proper MP3 functionality.
On a customer complaint basis only, retrofit MP3 functionality using Progman V20.00 or higher.
Refer to Service Information B65 30 05 .
Retrofitting of a MP3 compatible M-ASK is not possible on E60 vehicles.
