SUBJECT
SBSL/SBSR FC 9892/9912 Control Module Fault
SITUATION
The airbag warning lamp is illuminated and FC 9892/9912 (Control Module Fault) is stored in SBSL/SBSR (B - pillar satellite Left/Right).
CAUSE
Possible SW or HW fault.
PROCEDURE
Reprogram the SBSR and SBSL using CIP 15.0 or later.
Follow the general procedures for CIP programming as per B09 05 01 .
Select "Load SW" and identify that the module has not been replaced.
Select SBSR/Programming/Update S/W.
Print the Measures Plan.
After programming is completed, the module is coded, the system time is restarted and faults are cleared automatically.
Print the Final Report.
Select SBSL and repeat the above procedure.
