SUBJECT

CCC: Slow Response from System when using Controller

SITUATION

The customer states that after the system is up and operational, it takes longer than normal to switch between various menu/submenu functions using the iDrive controller.

PROCEDURE

On a customer complaint basis perform the following procedure:

Duplicate the customer complaint. It may be necessary to find out from the customer exactly which function is slow.
If the situation can be duplicated, compare the response time of the system with another like vehicle, if available, to see if it may be normal operation.
Update the complete vehicle per SI B09 05 01 (Coding, Individualization, Programming) Procedure B, using Progman V25.00.00 or higher.
