12 90 100 Replacing fan for electronics box

NOTE: Follow instructions for removing and installing electronic control units , see 12 00... Notes/information on removing and installing control units .

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Switch off ignition.

Unclip plug (1).

Remove DDE control unit (3).

Remove relay plug-in (5) towards top.

Release screws (4).

Lift out device carrier (2).

Unfasten plug connection and disconnect.

Release air cowl (1).

Remove electric fan (2) with bracket.

Add final details to vehicle.

Read fault memory.
