Check Control Messages

INFORMATION

In situations where the customer complains of a check control (CC) message, but the message is currently not displayed, the last (72) CC messages are stored in the instrument cluster and can be viewed using ISTA. (Note: Only important messages are stored. Messages concerning, for example, door open, are not stored.)

To view any stored CC messages using ISTA from the Information Search screen, select "Service Function / Vehicle Information / Check Control Messages / Start Search" .

Two documents will be displayed:

Functional Description (FUB) "Check Control messages". This document describes all possible CC messages.
Test Plan (ABL) "Check-control messages". Run this test plan to display each stored CC message along with its identification number and the vehicle mileage when it was stored.
