71 60 100 Removing and installing/replacing control unit for trailer coupling release
IMPORTANT:
Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD PROTECTION) .
Necessary preliminary tasks
- Partially open trim panel of spare wheel well. See 51 47... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR SPARE WHEEL WELL TRIM PANEL .
Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Unlock equipment holder (2).
Pull out AHK control unit (3) upwards in direction of arrow.
Installation note:
Make sure control unit AHK (3) is correctly seated.
