61 35 115 Removing and installing/replacing footwell module
IMPORTANT:
Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD PROTECTION) .
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE
- Detach both battery cables for negative terminal in F03
- Remove FOOTWELL SIDE TRIM PANEL ON A-PILLAR, LEFT
Disconnect connector connections (1) and (3).
Release nuts (2) and remove footwell module (4).
Tightening torque: see 4AZ in 61 35 CONTROL UNITS .
Replacement:
Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING/CODING .
