63 11... Installing headlight repair kit

Necessary preliminary work: 

• REMOVE HEADLIGHT 

Replacement of headlight is not required!

Original holder on the Xenon headlight and the corresponding holder from the repair kit are each marked with "Service I to V".

The numbering in the image corresponds to the numbering on the Xenon headlight.

Assignment of holder:

The holders from the repair kit may need to be adjusted for installation on the LED headlight.

Remove damaged holders (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) as far as possible as illustrated.

Do not damage headlight housing!

Do not damage mountings for holders from the repair kit.

Fit holder from repair kit (1, 2) as illustrated and tighten using enclosed screws (see arrows).

Fit holder from repair kit (3, 4, 5) as illustrated and tighten using enclosed screws (see arrows).

Slide sheet metal nut (2) onto holder (5).

After the repair 

• INSTALL HEADLIGHT 
• ADJUST HEADLIGHTS

Fit holder from repair kit (1, 2, 3) as illustrated and tighten using the enclosed screws (4).

After the repair 

• Install headlight. See LEFT HEADLIGHT  or RIGHT HEADLIGHT .
• ADJUST HEADLIGHTS
