High-pressure pump overflow valve: Function

There is an overflow valve fitted on the high-pressure pump. The fuel flows via the overflow valve into the high-pressure pump. The overflow valve ensures that there is virtually constant fuel pressure in the low pressure chamber in the high-pressure pump.
