41 14 531 Replacing Engine Support/Front Left Side Frame Connection (Front Left Wheel Arch Removed)

Observe procedure for REPAIR STAGE 3 .

Spot-weld bonding is used on this vehicle. Observe specific PROCEDURE .

Following new body parts are required:

(1) Connection, wheel arch/entrance

Removal:

Open welded connections in areas (1).

OPEN spot-welded adhesive joints in area (2).

Open welded connections in area (1).

Open spot-welded adhesive joints in area (2) and remove engine support/side frame connection (3).

Preparation of new part:

Open welded connections in area (1) and remove part section not required.

Installation:

Install and weld new parts.

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage to adhesive area.
Avoid applying too much heat to adjacent adhesive area (1).
