Range Extender (REx) and Basic Tools
SITUATION
Distribution of the following tools will be through the Automatic Tool Shipment Program. Additional tools may be purchased through your Regional Distribution Center (RDC).
Bushing Spacer
Order P/N 83 30 2 355 626
- Used in conjunction with P/N 83 30 2 355 442, 83 30 2 355 441, 83 30 2 355 246 and 83 30 2 355 438 (SI B04 11 14 ) to install the rubber bushing (1) in the rear carrier wishbone.

Support Extractor

- 123 mm support
- Pins
- 134 mm support
- The Support Extractor (1) is used to remove the REx support bearing (2).

2-Pin Test Cable
Order P/N 83 30 2 288 280
- Used to test the 2-Pin REx temperature sensor.
- Refer to the detailed instructions in the diagnosis plan.
Strap Guard
Order P/N 83 30 2 288 986
- The strap guard (1) is used in conjunction with the HV Battery strap (2-not supplied), shackle set (3-P/N 83 30 2 357 269) and eye bolt (4-P/N 83 30 2 357 270) to guard the lifting strap from chaffing during lifting and lowering.

LIFTING STRAPS INFORMATION
Minimum recommendations for the 4 lifting straps:
- Endless web sling (loop)
- Minimum lift capacity 2200 lbs
- 2" wide web, 3' long, polyester

Guide Pins
