Cell Module Charger
SITUATION
Distribution of the following tool through the Automatic Tool Shipment Program is complete. Additional units may be purchased through the RDC.
When servicing the High-voltage Battery, the state of charge (SOC) of the new Cell Module must match the SOC of the original (not replaced) Cell Modules. This may require either charging or discharging of the new Cell Module.
The Cell Module Charger must only be used on a single (1) High-voltage (HV) battery module at a time. Single modules must always be charged on a suitable non-conductive surface before being installed in the battery housing.
Periodically, the Owner's Manual may be updated with new information. The latest version Owner's Manual may be downloaded and printed from TIS. Follow the path below.
- Go to TIS
- Select "Tools and Equipment"
- Select "Deutronic DBL1200HV - Manual"
If during normal operation of the cell module charger a "Password" or "Start Code" is required input "GO".

Connections from the Module Charger to the HV-Battery module are as follows:
- Positive terminal
- Negative terminal
- Connection used to monitor the module voltage and temperature
