Initializing Run Flat Indicator

There is a puncture when the vehicle symbol and yellow indicator light both light up. With run-flat tires it is possible to continue the journey at speeds up to 80 km/h.

No further driving is possible with tires without emergency running properties.

The maximum possible remaining distance of a faulty, depressurized run-flat tires, is 80 km with a medium vehicle load.

Run Flat Indicator initialization 

Initialization can only be carried out when the tire pressure is OK. It must be ensured that there is no puncture.

Do not initialize the system when snow chains are used!

Initialization by using the on-board computer equipment 

Start the engine but do not drive off.

Select the following steps from the main menu:

"Vehicle information"

"Vehicle status"

Start initialization with "Confirm tire pressure".

Initialization is completed during the journey.

Initialization by using the drop arm 

Start the engine but do not drive off

Press button 1 up or down until the corresponding symbol and "Reset" appear

Press button 2 to confirm the selection.

Press button 2 for 5 sec until a hook appears.

Initialization is completed during the journey.
