Puncture With Mobility System
| With the Mobility System, it is possible to temporarily seal minor tire damage to enable a continued journey. To do so, a liquid sealing compound is pumped into the tire. The use of the Mobility System may be ineffective for tire damage that is approx. 4 mm or larger. The use of tire sealant can damage the RDC wheel electronics. In this case, have the electronics checked and, if necessary, replaced at the next available opportunity. If possible, leave any foreign objects that have penetrated the tire in place. Instructions for the Mobility System can be found in the Owner's Handbook. |

| Observe all applicable instructions. Pull the top speed limitation label off of the sealing compound bottle and stick it on the steering wheel. |
| Enclosed spaces Do not run the engine in enclosed spaces. Otherwise, the inhalation of the exhaust gases may lead to unconsciousness or death. |
| Add sealing compound 1. Shake sealing compound bottle. |
| 2. Completely remove connecting hose from the compressor housing. Do not kink the hose. | |
| 3. Screw connecting hose onto the connection of the sealing compound bottle. | |
| 4. Insert sealing compound bottle on the compressor housing in an upright position. | |
| 5. Screw the filling hose of the sealing compound bottle onto the valve of the faulty wheel. | |
| 6. Make sure the compressor is switched off, then insert the connector into a power socket in the vehicle. | |
| 7. Once the ignition has been switched on, or if the engine is running, switch on the compressor. Run the compressor for approx. 3 to 8 minutes in order to add the sealing compound and attain a tire pressure of approx. 2.5 bar. | |
| Do not run compressor for longer than 10 minutes. Otherwise, the unit will overheat and may be damaged. If a tire pressure of 2 bar is not reached:

Stow the Mobility System
Spread the sealing compound
Correct tire inflation pressure

| After every wheel or tire change and after every correction of the tire pressure, perform a re-initialization of the Run Flat Indicator/reset tire pressure control. Initialization Run Flat Indicator/reset tire pressure control, see
Initialization/reset can only be carried out when the tire pressure is OK. It must be ensured that there is no puncture. Do not perform an initialization/reset with snow chains mounted. |
