| Manually unlocking the tailgate 1. Fold rear seat backrest towards front. Grab in the recess and fold the rear seat backrest forward, arrow. |

| 2. Release the cover in the lower tailgate using the toolkit or a suitable object and remove. 3. Pull the plastic loop in the direction of the passenger compartment, arrrow. The tailgate is unlocked. 4. Open the upper tailgate, press in the plastic loop again. The tailgate is locked again as soon as it is closed. |
