41 00... EMC Screws

(EMC = electromagnetic compatibility)

1. Purpose: 
   • EMC SCREWS  are used in the bonding/rivet repair method to re-establish bonding transition.
   • The EMC screws ensure the operational reliability and safety of the electrical/electronic components following repairs!
2. Drive module procedure: 
   • The reinforcement plates for joining the Drive module with a new front axle or rear axle module have prepared tabs where the EMC screws can be screwed in.
   • 4 EMC screws are screwed in per tab.
   • After hardening of the adhesive, drill holes to a diameter of 4.2 mm and screw in screws.
   • Seal EMC screws with PU sealing material (risk of corrosion).
