Temperature sensor

The following temperature sensors are installed for the heating and air conditioning system:

• Ventilation temperature sensor

  The ventilation temperature sensor measures the delivery temperature directly at the center ventilating flap on the driver's side.

• Footwell temperature sensor

  The footwell temperature sensor measures the blow-out temperature directly at the footwell flap of the footwell ventilation duct on the driver's side.

• Evaporator temperature sensor

  The evaporator temperature sensor measures the outlet temperature of the cooled air at the evaporator to prevent icing of the evaporator.

The control unit of the heating and air conditioning system evaluates the signals of the temperature sensors. The IHKA control unit uses this message e.g. to adjust the corresponding flap motors.
