Initialize component protection

After replacement of the BDC or the head unit or after installation of a used head unit, the component protection must be reinitialized.
After replacement of the BDC or the head unit or after installation of a used head unit, the component protection must be reinitialized.
- During replacement
of BDC or the head unit, reinitialize the component protection with the diagnostic system as follows:
- The BDC or the head unit under: Mark "Vehicle management/control unit exchange/after the exchange" as exchanged.
- Determine the action plan and execute.
- You must follow the instructions!
- When installing a used head unit
, reinitialize as follows:
- contact Technical Support
- Then, reinitialize the component protection in workshop system via immediate measure "Initialization of component protection of head unit (HU)" in the "Additional software" tab.
