Remove range extender electrical machine electronics (REME).

• Unscrew the bolts (1) on the heat shield.
• Guide out and remove the heat shield (2).

• Unlock and disconnect the high-voltage safety plug (1).
• Loosen screws (2).
• Disconnect high-voltage connector (3).
• Unlock and disconnect the signal connector (4).
• Detach the high-voltage cable from the clamps (5).
• Unlock and disconnect the connector (6) from the high-voltage cable.

• Unscrew the screw (1) of the potential equalization line (2).
• Unlock and disconnect the coolant hoses (3).

• Loosen screws (1).
• Loosen nut (2).
