Compressor Ambient Switch

This is a bi-metal type electrical switch mounted in the plenum blower assembly (all models except Riviera) or in evaporator blower assembly (Riviera). Switch senses outside air temperature and Will close (to permit compressor operation) at 45°F. maximum, and open (to prevent compressor operation) at 25°F. minimum. This will eliminate unnecessary compressor operation when air conditioning is not required.
