ACRS CAUTION - It equipped with Air Cushion Restraint System, do not attempt any adjustment, repair, or removal of any portion of the A/C system which require removal or disconnection of any components of the ACRS system until ACRS disconnection procedure is completed. This procedure must be followed to prevent accidental deployment of the system which could result in personal injury and/or damage to the system's components .
ACRS DISCONNECTION PROCEDURE - Turn ignition switch to "LOCK" position. Disconnect negative battery cable from battery and tape end .
The Buick Automatic Climate Control system is designed to automatically control the heating and air conditioning of the automobile's interior so that a constant temperature is maintained. Depending upon the desired mode (heating or air conditioning), the ACC will rapidly adjust the interior temperature of the vehicle as desired, and then automatically modulate the system components to maintain the selected setting, until the driver alters the control panel settings.
