Transmission Switch
Disconnect connector from switch. Connect test light from switch terminal to a 12-volt source. Test light should be on when in high gear and off in lower gears.
NOTE:
Test lamp must not be larger than an 1893 bulb (dash light bulb). Larger bulbs using more than 0.8 amps will damage switch contacts.
