Water Deflector: Installation

1. Install water deflector (38). See Fig 1 .
2. Pull electrical connectors through their respective holes and slots in water deflector (38).
3. Apply string sealer in a continuous bead that will guide water to drain slots.
4. Insert bottom edge of water deflector (38) into retaining slots. Press water deflector (38) into inner panel to ensure a good bond.
5. Apply a strip of tape to secure top of water deflector (38) to door inner panel.
6. Install armrest plate hanger (11). See Figure .
7. Install radio speaker. See RADIO SPEAKER  .
8. Install door trim panel. See TRIM PANEL  .
