Test D: Window Motor Test

  1. With ignition switch in RUN position, connect test lamp at the suspect window motor connector wires. Leave window motor connector disconnected. Operate associated switch in master switch UP and DN.
  2. Connect test lamp between Dark Blue and Brown wires. The test lamp should light. If not, check Dark Blue and Brown wires for an open or short to ground.
  3. Operate associated window switch UP and DN. If results are correct, check for a poor connection. If OK, replace window motor.
  4. Connect test lamp between Dark Blue and Brown wires. The test lamp should light. If not, replace suspect window switch.
