Preliminary Checks

Ensure A/C-heater system is properly charged with refrigerant and fault Code 09 is not recorded. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM under TROUBLE SHOOTING . Inspect compressor clutch connector terminals for corrosion. Repair as necessary. Ensure ground connections are secure.

NOTE: To prevent misdiagnosis, ensure A/C-heater system is properly charged and no fault codes are stored by A/C self-diagnostic system. If fault Code 09 is recorded, see SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
