Front Seat Assembly: Removal

1. Operate seat to full-forward position.
2. Remove the screws (5) from front seat adjuster rear trim covers (4). See Fig 1 .
3. Remove the front seat adjuster rear trim covers (4). See Fig 1 .
4. Remove the rear adjuster nuts (2) from the anchor plate (11). See Fig 2 .
5. Remove the safety belt anchor bolts. Operate seat to full-rearward position.
6. Remove the screws (6) from the front seat adjuster trim covers (7). See Fig 1 .
7. Remove the front seat adjuster front trim covers (7). See Fig 1
8. Remove the front adjuster nuts (2) from the anchor plate studs (11). See Fig 2 .
9. Disconnect the electrical connectors (19) and lumbar connectors (20), from seats with any electrical equipment, such as 6-way power adjusters, or power lumbar support. See Fig 2 .
10. Remove the front seat assembly with the aid of a helper.
