Head Restraint: Notes

All front seats have front seatback head restraints on the driver's and passenger's seatback. the head restraints are designed so they cannot be removed with out first inserting a flat tool inside the head restraint guides to release the lock clips. The head restraints can be raised or lowered for proper positioning.

Two head restraint lock-releasing tools must be fabricated locally from flexible steel strap. The flat surfaces of these tools will release the spring lock tab. See Fig 1 .
