Power Adjuster Assembly: Reassembly

  1. Install the front vertical gearnut (50). Install the rear vertical gearnut (52).See Figure . Install the gearnut screws (56).
  2. Install adjuster horizontal actuator (44). Install the screws (43) to adjuster horizontal actuator (44). See Figure .
  3. Install the front vertical gearnut nut (54). See Figure . Install the vertical assist spring (51). See Install the rear vertical gearnut nut (55).
  4. See Figure .
  5. Place the power adjuster (45) in a bench vise. See Figure . Carefully compress the vertical assist spring (51). See Figure . Install the rear gearnut nut (55). See Figure . Remove the power adjuster (45) from the bench vise.
