Control Module Power/Ground Input

  1. Unplug lamp control module harness 10-pin connector C1. See Figure and Figure . Turn ignition on. It is normal for chime to sound when module is disconnected and driver door is open. Check condition of connector terminals.
  2. Check for battery voltage at connector C1 terminal "G". If battery voltage does not exist, repair Red wire between control module and circuit breaker No. 6. If battery voltage exists, go to next step.
  3. Check for battery voltage at connector C1 terminal "H". If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, check instrument panel fuse No. 14. If fuse is okay, repair Orange wire between control module and instrument panel fuse block.
  4. Check for battery voltage at connector C1 terminal "K". If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair Pink wire between control module and ignition switch.
  5. Check for battery voltage between connector C1 terminals "E" and "G". If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open in Black/White wire between control module and ground.
  6. Check for battery voltage between connector terminals "F" and "K". If battery voltage exists, go to TWILIGHT SENTINEL CONTROL  test. If battery voltage does not exist, repair Black/White wire between control module and ground.
