Upshift Indicator Test

  1. Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM) White connector "B". Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using voltmeter, measure voltage between PCM White connector terminal "B" (Tan/Black wire) and ground.
  2. If battery voltage is present, see appropriate article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE for PCM diagnosis. If battery voltage is not present, check bulb and Tan/Black wire for open circuit or short to ground. If bulb and wire are okay, replace IPC.
