Brake Pressure Modulator: Removal
- Remove Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM). See ELECTRONIC BRAKE CONTROL MODULE (EBCM). Remove BPM mounting insulators. See Figure. Remove ground wire from pump motor.
- Note location of brakelines, and remove lines. Plug brakelines to prevent loss and contamination of fluid. Remove brake pressure modulator from bracket.
NOTE:
When removing brake pressure modulator valve, protect vehicle exterior from possible brake fluid spillage.
