Preliminary Checks
- Check PWR SEAT circuit breaker (25-amp), MEM/RFA fuse (10-amp) and DDM fuse (10-amp) in rear bussed electrical center. Check IGN SEN fuse (10-amp) in instrument panel bussed electrical center. If circuit breaker is tripped or fuse is blown, check for short to ground in appropriate wire. Ensure ground connections are clean and tight. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment.
- If seat motor internal circuit breaker is tripped, remove voltage from motor to reset. Check for broken or partially broken wire inside of insulation, which could cause system malfunction but prove good in a continuity/voltage check with system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded.
