Power Seat System: Description

The left and right power seat system each consist of a seat switch and 4 reversible motors (front vertical, rear vertical, horizontal and recline). Each motor contains an electronic circuit breaker (PTC), which will reset only after voltage has been removed from the motor. Power recline is not available on all models. The power lumbar system consists of a lumbar switch and 2 reversible motors (vertical and horizontal).

The heated seat system consists of a heated seat module, heated seat switch, a heated seat back and a heated seat cushion for each front seat. The Rear Integration Module (RIM), Driver Door Module (DDM) and Passenger Door Module (PDM) are also involved in heated seat operation.

The memory seat system consists of the Memory Seat Module (MSM), 4 seat motors and 2 lumbar motors. Each motor has a position sensor attached. The MSM controls the movement of each motor. The MSM also provides a soft stop for each motor. Motors will stop just before their physical end of travel.
