Setting Up New Vehicle Theft Deterrent Module

  1. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located on lower left side of instrument panel, near steering column.
  2. Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
  3. Using scan tool, select SETUP NEW VTD MODULE in VEHICLE THEFT DETERRENT, SPECIAL FUNCTIONS data list.
  4. Follow scan tool instructions.
