Removal & Installation

  1. Open door. Remove door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL  . Disconnect window motor electrical connector.
  2. Remove door window regulator/motor-to-door screws. Position window regulator/motor through access opening to allow removal of window regulator-to-motor screws. Remove window regulator-to-motor screws. Remove window regulator/motor and bracket mounting bolts. Remove regulator/motor assembly from door.
  3. Install window regulator/motor assembly into door. Tighten front window regulator/motor-to-regulator screws to 53 INCH lbs. (6 N.m). Install electrical connector. Tighten window/regulator motor-to-door bolts to 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m). To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
