Removal Procedure

Remove the knee bolster bracket. Refer to KNEE BOLSTER REPLACEMENT .
Remove the steering column trim covers.
Disconnect the automatic transmission shift lock control connector.

Use a screwdriver to pry the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column support assembly.
Remove the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column.
