Installation Procedure

Position the sunroof module in the vehicle. Press up to install the two white nylon locator/retainers.
NOTE: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

Install the sunroof module actuator bracket bolt.
Tighten

Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Install the 6 sunroof module to roof bolts.
Tighten

Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Install the 4 sunroof module bracket to side rail bolts.
Tighten

Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Connect the front and rear drain hoses to the sunroof housing.
Properly route the rear hoses in the metal roof slot and tape the hoses in place.
Connect the sunroof harness to the body harness at the right rear pillar.

Install the sunroof sunshade panel. Refer to SUNROOF SUNSHADE PANEL REPLACEMENT .
Temporarily install the power sunroof switch and check the operation of the sunroof.
Install the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT in Interior Trim.
